New York Giants Owner John Mara Reveals He's Been Diagnosed With Cancer

The New York Giants president and CEO, 70, shared his health update with the team, who announced the news across its social platforms on Monday, Sept. 29.
"I have recently been diagnosed with cancer and have been following the treatment plan recommended by an outstanding team of doctors," Mara's statement began.

The New York Giants were founded by Mara's grandfather, Tim Mara, in 1925, making him the third generation of his family to own the team.
Mara has two Super Bowl titles as a co-owner of the New York Giants.
