The BBC, KTLA and CBS News reported that Jonathan Renteria, 25, has been charged with the murder of June Bunyan, 37. According to Los Angeles County jail records, Renteria is being held on $4 million bail. The Los Angeles Police Department was subsequently notified. On Sept. 11, the LAPD conducted a welfare check at Renteria's home and found Bunyan's body dismembered and decomposed, CBS reported. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office determined that Bunyan's cause of death was traumatic neck injuries.
