Reporter Asal Rezaei claims she was driving her truck with her window down as she approached an ICE facility in Broadview when her car was suddenly hit with chemical munitions, she said in an interview with CBS. As she was turning her car around, Rezaei alleged, an ICE agent shot a pepper ball about 50 feet away from behind a fence. The agent allegedly "pointed his weapon and shot directly at my car, he saw my window was open," Rezaei recounted in her CBS interview, pointing out white powder on the hood of her car. "A lot of it went inside my car and on my face, I immediately felt it burning. “The Broadview Police Department expects the full cooperation of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security into our criminal investigation,” Broadview Police Chief Thomas Mills said in a statement, per the Chicago Sun Times and FOX 32.
