An 80-year-old woman died shortly after the Honda sedan she was driving crashed and overturned in San Marcos on Monday, sheriff’s officials said. The crash occurred around 3 a.m. on San Marcos Boulevard near Knoll Road, according to Sgt. The woman died at the scene. There were no witnesses, Collis said. Investigators asked anyone with information about the crash to call the San Marcos sheriff’s station at (760) 510-5200.
