A former BBC local radio reporter and presenter has appeared in court charged with three counts of rape. Journalist Jack Tymon, who worked at Radio Derby between 2021 and this year, appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court in connection with the offences, which are said to have taken place in 2017. Tymon, pictured, is accused of raping one woman twice and of raping and assaulting a second woman. Tymon is a former president of the students’ union at Derby university where he studied theatre arts.
