Reform UK has been accused of extending a media blackout to other publications following its ban on speaking to journalists at the Nottingham Post. As previously reported, Reform UK-led Nottinghamshire County Council decided to sever relations with the Post and companion website Nottinghamshire Live in a row over an article about local government reform. Now another publication, news website Nation.Cymru, has claimed that the party is refusing to speak to its journalists, as well as telling one of its councillors not to speak to them. More recently another Reform councillor, Sarah Lang, refused to speak to journalists after Nation.Cymru revealed she had appeared in explicit photos on adult websites under the pseudonym ‘Princess Spyderlily’. She responded: “I can’t speak to any journalists” and referred the publication to a party press officer, who then declined to comment.
