BRADFORD, Vt. (WCAX) - Police are investigating a string of recent gas thefts at a Bradford auto body shop. “We kept smelling gas,” Pierson said. Over the past several weeks, at least four vehicles at the auto repair business were targeted with similar damage. “We obviously see the hole in the bottom, figured somebody was stealing gas,” Pierson said. Dealership employees say at least eight vehicles have been targeted in the past year, both new trucks and vehicles in for service.
