Apple has reserved half of TSMC’s total available 2nm capacity by booking out all the initial output at TSMC’s Baoshan fab. All other 2nm customers will have to use TSMC’s Kaohsiung fab (pictured)Other 2nm customers are said to include Nvidia, Intel, Google, Broadcom, Amazon. Next year 2nm capacity is expected to reach about 100k wpm. By 2028, 2nm capacity is expected to reach 200k wpm. 2nm was supposed to have been the node at which Intel was to have overtaken TSMC in process technology and bagged up all the big customers.
