The Birdhill Coffee Festival – Ireland’s only destination coffee festival (for adults) – involves educational classes and guest speakers and roasters, along with coffee in many forms. We talk to the festival’s founder and owner of the Old Barracks Coffee Roastery, Alan Andrews, about Year Two of the event and his plans for the future. Our roastery is a destination for people who are coffee curious – and that means different things for different people. So, there is lots going on, and lots of opportunities for people to learn and experience coffee in many different ways. We are working on our biggest project yet, which is going back to our roots of the Coffee Culture education business I started in 2009.
