Irish Consumers Return To Late Nights And Spirits
[]
Hospitality Ireland
New research by CGA by NIQ shows that Irish consumers have begun the return to going out later and spending more.
Ireland’s on-premise consumers are starting to embrace a wider range of dayparts and occasions, after an easing of pressure on their spending, a new analysis by CGA by NIQ reveals.
After a prolonged drop-off in late-night occasions during Covid-19 and its aftermath, consumers began to stay out longer in 2024.
ADVERTISEMENTAn increased desire to stay out late is changing the make-up of occasions in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
This shows that there continues to be a base of on-trade consumers for the spirits category to recruit, to facilitate growth.
