It was a downright horrific weekend at the box office. Sad to say, this past weekend saw several new releases fail to drum up much business, including a couple of smaller genre titles. In holdover news, last weekend’s surprise thriller Last Breath held pretty well, pulling in $4.2 million in its second weekend. On that front, NEON’s The Monkey continues to do well for itself, pulling in $3.9 million on its third weekend.
