August 31 – Snelling is arrested and booked in the Fayette County Detention Center. September 26 – At her preliminary hearing, Snelling appeared at the Fayette County District Courthouse and waived the matter to the Fayette County grand jury. Before 9 am on the day of the infant's birth, Snelling told friends in a group chat that noises earlier that morning were due to her passing out. The infant's cause of death has not as yet been revealed by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.
