Brunswick Police are investigating after a hoax threat prompted campus safety personnel to evacuate some buildings at Bowdoin College Monday. The reported threat came on the same day police in Waterville investigated a bomb threat at Colby College. “Bowdoin Safety and Security Officers were quick to clear the buildings and assess the situation,” Cook wrote in an email. Some classes were canceled Monday at Colby College due to a bomb threat that also targeted at the college’s library, Colby officials said.
