Salem Mayor Dominick Pangallo has announced a Mayor's Night Out event on Friday, Sept. 26. The event will offer free access to museums and attractions for Salem residents to enjoy early Halloween festivities. Many Salem museums and attractions, such as the Peabody Essex Museum, Salem Witch Museum, Salem Wax Museum, and Frankenstein's Castle, will offer free admission at specific times. Residents must provide a photo identification showing proof of Salem residency to gain free admission to participating attractions. Additionally, free parking for Salem residents will be available after 2 p.m. at the Museum Place Mall Garage and South Harbor Garage.
