By Daniel TyokuaThe FCT Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board has approved the sum of eight million, two hundred and forty-four thousand, eight hundred, and thirteen naira, sixty-seven kobo as fare for the 2026 exercise.
It said the director, Mallam Kadiri Edah, urged intending pilgrims to complete payment before the end of December, 2025.
He requested those who have made payment above the actual hajj fare to forward their account details to the Board to get refund of the excess payment.
Edah stated that the refunds can only be paid directly into the account of the intending pilgrims and cash transactions would not be entertained.
He reassured the desire of the Board to render the best services to FCT contingent in the forthcoming hajj exercise.
