Reconstruction work on Octavia Street and Henry Street begins this week. The City of Belleville has contracted Len Corcoran Excavating Ltd. for the work on Octavia Street north of Catharine Street and Henry Street west of Murney Street. The first phase of the project includes the full reconstruction of Henry Street between Murney Street and Octavia Street, as well as work within the intersection of Octavia Street and Henry Street. The second phase of this project will begin in the spring of 2026 with full completion of the project expected by the fall of 2026.
