The following are excerpts from just some of the reports recently generated by the Texas County Sheriff’s Department:Amber D. Kirk, 37, of Route 17 in Summersville, was arrested Sept. 26 for having two active Texas County warrants for felony charges of possession of a controlled substance.
On Sept. 20, a deputy was dispatched regarding a report of theft at a Success Road residence in Success.
On Sept. 17, a 63-year-old Success man reported that someone had dumped DEF fluid into the fuel tank of his 2024 Ford F-350 pickup truck.
The man told a deputy that he started the truck and it ran for about a mile before shutting down.
On Sept. 18, a deputy was dispatched regarding a report of trespassing and theft at a Paddy Chapel Road property at Roby.
