(Image: NHSRCL)The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has completed the launching of the viaduct over the Girdhar Nagar Railway Over Bridge (ROB) on the Delhi–Ahmedabad main line of the Western Railway in Ahmedabad. The work, which is part of the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor bullet train project, has been completed within 12 days. The NHSRCL said 19 segments were launched to complete the 45-metre span of the viaduct that runs parallel to the existing railway line. The span was launched on September 15, over the two-lane Girdhar Nagar ROB, which is one of the busiest in Ahmedabad, connecting Shahibaug, Aswara and Kalupur.
