Geologists are keeping a close eye on the land in Rancho Palos Verdes as the ground begins to give way. There are now major safety concerns and although homes are not being evacuated, it is possible that it could change. WATCH HERE WATCH HEREGeologists and building and safety staff were making their way out to the area to assess the land movement. The LA County Fire Department spoke with NBC4 Saturday night about how these homes are holding up. We will need to follow up on that with the proper geologists and experts in the soils to make sure that the movement is stopped," said Battalion Chief Emmanuel Sampang with the LA County Fire Department.
