British author J.K. Rowling recently had scathing criticism for the arguably the biggest actress from the movies her books inspired. Rowling, 60, posted a lengthy statement to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday morning that took aim at former “Harry Potter” star Emma Watson, who has been critical of Rowling’s anti-transgender rhetoric. I'm not owed eternal agreement from any actor who once played a character I created. I lived in poverty while writing the book that made Emma famous,” Rowling’s post read. The author claimed the Watson and Radcliffe’s opposing stances fueled “death, rape and torture threats” at the time.
