A man riding a scooter was critically injured in Trenton on Sunday after he was dragged underneath a moving car before it drove off, police said. The 32-year-old Trenton resident was riding his scooter on Oakland Street from Prospect Street toward Mellon Street when he collided with the car traveling in the opposite direction at about 4:15 a.m. According to police, the scooter rider fell underneath the vehicle while he was attempting to avoid a head-on collision. The car drove over the man and dragged him a short distance before driving away, authorities said. Responding officers found the man bleeding from his ears on Oakland Street.
