Play Airlines, the Icelandic operator, launched flights between Glasgow Airport and Keflavik Airport four times a week two years ago.
A spokesperson for Glasgow Airport said the carrier stopped operating from there last year.
It has today posted a message on its website saying it has “ceased operations, and all flights have been cancelled”.
Play Airlines also operated flights from Iceland to Boston, Washington DC, Baltimore, and New York in the United States, as well as Toronto in Canada.
The airport spokesperson told The Herald: "Play doesn't operate from GLA (Glasgow Airport) and hasn't since 2024."
