Ever since we ended that long cool streak of weather from the end of August into the beginning of September the temps have been mild.
Over the weekend we even came close to record highs!
More warmth is expected today with highs in the upper 70s which is over 10 degrees above average.
The average high has now dropped to 68.
Most of the eastern two-thirds of the country looks to be above average and the bulk of the warmth will be in northern states like Wisconsin with an 80% chance for above average temps.
