A judge in Tulsa, Oklahoma, sentenced former “American Idol” contestant Benjamin Glaze to 25 years for allegedly possessing child sex abuse material. Police arrested Glaze and charged him with aggravated possession of child sexual abuse material in October 2024, according to The Independent. Authorities recovered Glaze’s device, which allegedly contained 700 images and videos of child sex abuse material. The judge sentenced Glaze to 25 years, with 15 years served behind bars and the remaining 10 suspended. Glaze auditioned for “American Idol” during season 16 and went viral when Katy Perry planted a kiss on his cheek during his audition.
