But, the family of a staff member, who did not wish to be named, has voiced concerns over the incident. The family member claimed that initially, staff were told not to go into work on the day, before being told the opposite. Morrisons said “wrong information” was sent via social media in the morning about colleagues not being required to work. The family member also said that the fire service attended and urged them to close for staff, due to safety concerns.
