Entrance to Veterans Memorial Drive at Elm Street to be closed temporarily Oct. 9 Published 10:16 am Monday, September 29, 2025The entrance to Veterans Memorial Drive at Elm Street will be closed temporarily on Oct. 9 for traffic signal maintenance. The entrance to Veterans Memorial Drive at Elm Street, located next to the Troy University Softball Complex, will be closed from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Oct. 9. Through traffic on Elm Street will still be allowed during the maintenance, however, motorists will not be allowed to turn onto Veterans Memorial Drive. Motorists in Troy are asked to use alternate routes to avoid this area for the duration of the closure.
