Troy Softball, Basketball earn in-state commitments Published 11:24 am Monday, September 29, 2025Both the Troy University softball and women’s basketball programs recently earned commitments from in-state high school prospects. Colbert Heights High School pitcher Addison Holcomb committed to Troy Softball. Troy Women’s Basketball also landed a commitment from Class of 2026 guard Hannah Smith of Montgomery-Catholic School. The 6-foot incoming senior is a two-time All-State selection and was also selected to the AHSAA North-South All-Star team this past summer. She enters her senior season at Montgomery-Catholic with 2,008 career points and more than 1,000 career rebounds.
