The alleged victim, who in in his 30s, was also said to have been spat at during the incident, which happened at Ashington Bus Station, in Ashington, Northumberland, in July. He has since been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.”Police said the alleged assault happened at around 9.05pm on Saturday July 20 when the man was walking through the bus station. The spokeswoman said: "Police were informed that sometime between 9.05pm and 9.10pm on Sunday, July 20, a man was walking through Ashington Bus Station when he was approached by another man who he did not know. "The victim, who is in his 30s, sustained a broken jaw and was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
