The future of the buildings were also raised in a North Tyneside cabinet meeting last week by local businesses representatives. North Tyneside Council’s ‘Ambition for North Shields’ has delivered the construction of the new Transport Hub and rejuvenation of the town square. Other projects include the construction of the North Shields Embankment Walkway and the development of 28 new affordable homes in the town centre.
