Johnson College has introduced a new program to help companies adapt to changes through tailored training that suits each firm.
Customized Training Solutions — part of the college’s Workforce Advancement & Value-Added Education (WAVE) department — offers flexible, targeted workforce development to meet the evolving needs of employers across Northeast Pennsylvania, college officials said.
“It’s about building partnerships that solve real business challenges,” Ashley Bechaver, director of WAVE, said in a news release.
The training — designed to align with each company’s tools, systems and workflow through real-world scenarios as a way to boost productivity, improve quality and retain employees — is available onsite at participating businesses, online, or at Johnson College’s Scranton and Hazleton campuses, college officials said.
Businesses interested in participating in the program should contact the WAVE team at 570-702-8979 or email wave@johnson.edu by providing the contact’s name, business name, title and preferred method of contact.
