A 32-year-old man who allegedly stabbed a woman in Swieqi two days ago was kept in preventive custody after his arraignment on Monday. The man was accused of grievously injuring the woman with a sharp and pointed instrument as well as insulting and threatening her. The court upheld the request to protect the children of the alleged victim. A protection order was issued in favour of the alleged victim. Lawyers Marion Camilleri and Anthea Bonnici Zammit appeared for the alleged victim.
