Their sound is rooted in South American folk music but built around the sounds of minimalist electronics and their simple but elegant vocal harmonies. Using percussion, a looping station, and a small ukulele-like instrument known as a cuatro, the sisters create a slightly off-kilter, distinctly personal type of avant-folk-pop.
