Chris Featherstone, 55, appeared at Huntingdon Crown Court last Monday (September 22) having previously denied the offences which were committed between 2015 and 2021. He was found guilty following a week-long trial and sentenced to nine months in prison, suspended for 18 months. Featherstone will be required to undertake 120 hours of unpaid work and complete an 18-month rehabilitation requirement. The 55-year-old, who was a former Hertfordshire Constabulary police constable, remains under investigation for gross misconduct. "People like Featherstone do not represent our values, and his actions make our job of catching criminals and protecting victims much harder."
