A month after the alleged May assault, Brandon Grigsby, 18, attacked a "family member" and threw bleach into their eyes during an argument, according to a Nashville Police Department press release.
Authorities said last week that they were unable to charge Grigsby at the time due to witness availability.
"Two of the grand jury indictments against Grigsby were related to an aggravated assault in May involving his pregnant girlfriend," cops alleged.
"She said Grigsby choked and kicked her before he attempted to stab her in the stomach.
The two of them allegedly attempted to flee from police after being pulled over, but the BMW was "disabled" and both individuals were taken into custody.
