Representative Chip Roy (TX-21) demands answers from AEP Transmission and CPS Energy on the proposed routes of the Howard-Solstice Transmission Line project that would cut through the Texas Hill Country. “One of the proposals for the transmission line would run straight through Bandera County and Real County, both of which offer stunning landscapes and help make up the Texas Hill Country. The delicate nature of the Hill Country in Texas requires careful stewardship and boasts one of the most beautiful areas in the nation. The large-scale construction of transmission lines poses a threat to the economic ecosystem that the local community relies on for jobs and tax revenue."
