A Missouri dentist who was charged earlier this year with drug trafficking and unlawful use of a weapon was ordered by a judge to shut down his practice, fourstateshomepage.com reported Sept. 26.
John Joseph, DDS, was arrested in March for the drug and weapons charges.
He is also facing charges for his alleged involvement in a fatal hit-and-run case from 2023.
Newton County Judge Charles Genesio issued a temporary injunction earlier this month, ordering Dr. Joseph’s practice to close Sept. 21.
The injunction can be lifted if Dr. Joseph is acquitted or if charges are dismissed in both cases.
