After a prolonged delay (including issues last week), all Android 16 QPR1 Beta 3.1 users are now seeing the “No Data Wipe” OTA. The opt-out update started rolling out on September 12 for some Beta 3.1 users. As of this morning, it’s now rolling out for everyone that left the Android Beta Program (to avoid QPR2 and early bugs), including our Pixel 8a. Go to Settings > Settings > Software updates > System update to download and install. This OTA comes as those on Beta 3.1 were impacted by Google Wallet/NFC tap-to-pay problems over the last few days.
