CSX CEO Steve Angel introduced himself to railroad employees in this memo today. Over the coming weeks, many of us will have the chance to meet in person, but I feel that it is important to begin the conversation now. Under his leadership, CSX navigated demanding circumstances, strengthened key relationships, and made operational progress that positions us well for the future. My priority in the coming weeks is to listen and learn – hearing your perspectives, sharing ideas, and building on the great work already underway. We will be hosting a Town Hall on Wednesday, October 1, and I hope to see many of you there.
