China’s authority NPPA approves 109 new games licenses for September

The latest batch of domestic game licenses has been released by NPPA with 109 games on the list.
The September batch includes one PC-end game, five games for both PC and mobile platforms, one Nintendo Switch game, and 102 mobile games.
Notable titles are Tencent Games’ Hunt, Shengqu Games’ Dragon Nest: Journey, 37 Interactive Entertainment’s Dragon Quest, and Xishanju’s Sword of Love: Zero.
Since the beginning of the year, 959 domestic game licenses have been issued.
In August, the Chinese game market generated revenue of RMB 33.64 billion ($4.8 billion), a year-on-year increase of 15.1%, according to market research platform Gamma Data.
