The Shenzhen Qianhai Development Zone announced new progress on Tencent’s new headquarters project, Penguin Island, located in the Dachan Bay area of Qianhai. Construction of Tencent’s new headquarters in Shenzhen Qianhai began in mid-2021, backed by an investment of RMB 31.9 billion ($4.47 billion).
