JD.com raises salaries and grants stock to Dada employees

On April 2, JD.com announced a salary upgrade for Dada employees, increasing pay to 19 months’ salary this year and 20 months’ salary in 2025.
Additionally, some outstanding Dada employees will receive JD Group stock grants.
The announcement follows Dada’s merger agreement with JD Sunflower Investment Ltd. and its wholly owned subsidiary, JD Sunflower Merger Sub Ltd.
Under the deal, Dada will merge with the subsidiary and become a wholly owned subsidiary of JD.com.
In February, JD signed contracts with its first full-time delivery riders, many of whom had previously worked for Dada.
