At the Huawei Developer Conference 2025 held today, Huawei unveiled the developer beta of HarmonyOS 6, marking the next evolution of its all-scenario intelligent operating system.
The new version delivers millisecond-level low-latency interaction, expanded AI capabilities, and introduces the HMAF (HarmonyOS Multi-Agent Framework) intelligent agent framework to enhance human-device collaboration, according to the company.
Key features include “Tap-to-Share” for instant file transfers between phones and PCs, multi-user collaboration, and cross-device content insertion.
HarmonyOS 6 also supports smart parking, fast fuel payments, and stronger privacy protection.
The system is set to launch commercially in the second half of the year with the Mate 80 series.
