Details: More than 40 devices are now powered by HarmonyOS 5, and over 9,000 apps have joined the push for system innovation under HarmonyOS, said Yu Chengdong, chairman of Huawei’s consumer business group, during HDC 2025. Huawei introduced the HarmonyOS Multi-Agent Framework (HMAF), defining a new interaction model between the operating system, applications, and intelligent agents. The developer beta version for HarmonyOS 6 is now open for registration, with the Harmony ecosystem surpassing 30,000 integrated apps. Huawei announced partnerships with nine companies, including AsiaInfo and Qi An Xin, to advance commercial HarmonyOS solutions. Context: HarmonyOS is Huawei’s self-developed operating system designed for interaction across smartphones, tablets, wearables, and IoT devices.
