Phantom Blade Zero, the highly anticipated Chinese dark wuxia action game, kicked off its first large-scale offline demo event in Beijing today. The venue was styled in a distinctive wuxia-punk aesthetic, bringing to life the game’s steampunk-meets-martial-arts world known as the Shadow Realm. Players got hands-on with the “Seven-Star Sword Array” demo, featuring map exploration, story cutscenes, and a dual boss battle against a Defier and a hidden foe. The event attracted over 1,000 attendees and 200 influencers from China and overseas. The game’s release is expected to be announced later this year, according to the developer S-GAME.
