Zimly, a South Korean app by startup Nomad Connection, is an all-in-one media player for digital devices, allowing users to store media files on the cloud and stream across different media devices such as smartphones, tablets and PCs. The biggest advantage of Zimly is that it supports every media format available – Be it MP3, 3GP, MP4, or AVI, Zimly supports them all and converts the files automatically according to the device used to play them. The app will soon be featured on Google Chromecast, allowing users to stream videos from their PC to a big-screen TV. Users simply need to download the Zimly app for their PC and input a PIN to connect Zimly with their Android or iOS device, before connecting to Chromecast. The Zimly app can be downloaded for free for Android and iOS, and the separate streamer apps for Windows PCs and Macare also free.
