HotelQuickly, a Hong Kong-based last-minute hotel booking service, announced today $1.13 million in series A round of funding. The mobile app offers hotel rooms that are available for booking from noon to 4 in the morning, and can be booked for up to 5 nights. Starting from six regions in Asia, HotelQuickly now is on 2 continents and in 11 countries across Asia Pacific, covering about 40 different destinations, according to the company. About 400 hotels across the region have teamed up with HotelQuickly to sell their last-minute inventory with discounts. The new funding will be used for further expansion within Asia-Pacific region and to accelerate product development, said the company.
