Northwestern University Dance Marathon (NUDM) has announced Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation as its 2026 primary benefactor. The Chicago-based non-profit supports children battling cancer and their families with holistic, family-centered services that address the emotional, financial, psychosocial and educational challenges of a pediatric cancer diagnosis. Funds raised through the 2026 NUDM campaign will support Bear Necessities’ wide range of programs. In addition, $10,000 will be allocated specifically for pediatric cancer research. Now in its 52nd year, Northwestern University Dance Marathon is one of the largest independent student-run philanthropies in the country, raising more than $23 million.
