Gong Haiyan, the founder of US-listed online dating service Jiayuan, unveiled another online education program, a platform for K-12 education, she is working on. Earlier this year she released 91Waijiao, an online English teaching service that connects Chinese students to native speaking teachers via a video communication tool. It’s a full-round platform for teachers, students and parents to do all kinds of educational activities besides school hours. Teachers can organize and share educational materials, check students’ homework and interact with students. Students can ask teachers questions there or interact with them in other ways when not at school.
