Morgan Sindall Construction has been appointed as a Tier 1 contractor for public-private partnership developer Hub North Scotland after a competitive supply chain review. The appointment further boosts Morgan Sindall position to deliver community infrastructure projects in the North region of Scotland. The project has received a Morgan Sindall platinum standard for carbon savings, marking the first such recognition in Yorkshire. To date, construction activities have saved 182 tonnes of carbon, which corresponds to the annual heating requirements of 67 UK homes, stated Morgan Sindall Construction.
