Signups are starting soon to apply for holiday assistance in Bartholomew County. The United Way of Bartholomew County is announcing that signups for area holiday assistance programs will start on Wednesday. The Helpline registers families and children who need help with gifts over the holidays in Bartholomew County. Children may be registered for only a single gift program .Last year, holiday assistance programs helped 3,358 children in Bartholomew County. Application forms are available at the police departments in Seymour, Brownstown, Crothersville and Medora as the Jackson County Sheriff Department.
